13 Mar ( Mumbai)

Never book accommodation as we are taking a night Train. So we deposit our bag at the Train station. Bert seem here helping out.....

Back to MUMBAI AGAIN!!! the place which i dreaded. Took the public transport. everything also must try what....

Had MAc for breakfast. Their Pancake SUCKS!!!!!!! I think lao Mac style is just like Indian. Laid back........

As usual, is all walk walk and walk..... We went to the hotel which one Singaporean was killed that some time back. As it was the world cup cricket season, I managed to see an ang moh team packing to go back. I am assuming it to be England. Security was tight.

View by the side of the hotel. Is actually quite hard to find a decent toilet in Mumbia. No Joke. I mean a clean toilet for you to do big business. We have to resort to going to high class hotel and act as if we stay there to use the toilet. It was damn lang bei.....

Went to this place where most of the hotel and hospital will send their clothes to be washed... Hand washed mind you at this place. Cool shit!! They will like take the cloth and hit on the wall and squeeze out the water. Holy cow!

You are not in mumbai if u nv ROAD march... went to a mosque and saw wedding car, ceremony.

went to this mosque which is in an "island" by itself. They have a some call paveway to the mosque. But when high tide, the paveway will be submerged and people cannot leave the mosque nor go to the mosque.

Walked all the way to a bridge under the hot sun, cursing and swearing. There was nth good to see there..... &*(#@&(*)&#(*@&#... wasted my energy.

Stop by an ice cream shop, had a milk shake and lao sia!!!

And back to the train station to take a 12 hours ride to GOA..... a heaven place....

12 March ( Aurangadad- Ajanta Cave)

Link (http://www.sacred-destinations.com/india/ajanta-caves)

Wake up early in the morning and took a 2 hour Car ride to Ajanta Caves. Book a car at around 1200 rupiees ( SGP$34) for the whole day.

The journey was bumpy and the air was dusty.

But is good for sleeping. Need to change to another bus to get to the cave.

To me is just another cave as I am not those cave person. But I heard that they took 100 years to crave out everything. Wooh............

As usual, people would want to take pic w us.

This security guard even told us which company he working for. Has a lot of pride in his job. woo

Bert was hum to take a pic with the local police. So i took it by myself.

One of the picture which I love most!!!!! I love the colours and the way it was taken.......

The view of our "Hotel". The rope is a common sign which we put at most of the places we stay. We need to hand wash our cloth. :(

Need to wait at the airport for some time. Took the opportunity to dry my cloth too... hee

11 March ( Aurangadad)

Look of the train. It was kind of cosy. There were actually 4 of us traveling together => Bert whom i know. And Adeline and Terrence which I only get to know at the airport.

Our "hotel". Our train reach Aurangadad at 4 am and we slept in the cafe of the "hotel" for the night.

We book a car to take us to Ellora cave ( http://www.sacred-destinations.com/india/ellora-caves)

It was wooooooooh............ I wonder how does the people in the past crave those statues out using primarily tools.

Had lunch at a nearby restaurant and everyone was like glue to the new. Because of the disaster that happen at Japan. Just nice there is a group of Japanese on a tour there. I don't know that it was so serious after few days later.

More caves after lunch. Total there were about 34 caves. So basically it was walk walk and walk. I think that Asians are not that "common" at Aurangadad as we were approach by many to take a picture of us. Some girls are shy and they will take pictures of us secretly. If not some will ask us politely to have picture with us. Once you say yes, their family members will join in. Before you know it, there's like 10 over people behind you. Wooh......

One of the most memorable part of my India Journey was the climbing of one of the fort which i forget the name. It is about 700 steps and is a really test of my physical.

The best part was that there were a field excursion for a class of polytechnic students. I was like being bombard a lot of questions by them. I was like panting and trying to answer their question at the same time.

They even introduce me to their lecturer. As usual, you know engineers are up tight and tense. So i siao -cane their lecturer up to a point they pull me away. hahaha....

If you relised the high sign they doing, was called Bollywood style, those with the middle finger was Hollywood. Force the lecturer to do those bollywood style. hahah......

In India, the 2 most respected profession are Doctors and Engineers. yup.... But in SGP, it is another story man.

I ended that day without regrets.... Not regretting coming to India.

1st Day in India ( 10 Mar)

Took the plane on the 9th, reached on 10th and started to explore India.

1st Stop Mumbai.

Wake up early and took a walk about the train station. FYI, it was been hit by terrorist some years back. Had lunch there which consist of a sandwich BRead.

There have many beautiful buildings around the area.

Walk in to their fish market. It was one of the worst smelling place on Earth. I literally had to hold my breath while working around the market and people will have Styrofoam board on their head with dirty water dripping now. One of the few days i regret walking around in slippers.

Lunch was great at this atar restaurant patronize by a lot of ang moh. Is not cheap too, i think cost around SGP$60 for 4 of us. But it was quite delicious in my opinion.

Walked around Mumbai around that and there was one of my worst day of my trip. The weather was hot at 38 degree and we walk and walk and walk. Without taking bus or cab, there was what back pack supposed to be ba....

Ended up at one of the beach in Mumbai ( people who know me will know that i am a follower, i don't usually remember the name of places that i have been to). Ya so this beach is majiam the one at shanghai where u can see a tower or smt like that.

In the end, after a long and torturous day. Me and Bert could not take it and we decided to take a cab. And we were "Tok" by the cab driver. Cmon, it is like part and parcel of a trip to be con by the locals. So oh well.... I was too shagged to think much about that. I somehow respect the gals who can like shop for hours and hours at shopping mall. Without complaining. Hereby you gals deserve a salute from me.

And ya so we took a cab. The cab had a smell which I would link it to the cow urine. You know like after a hot day and u urine, after a while, it evaporate. The smell is overwhelming. Luckily it was only a short trip.

Asked the driver to recommend a good place for dinner. We still have a night train to catch.
Guess what, I had for dinner. I saw the menu and there was SINGAPORE NOODLE. As someone who love my country a lot ( as if), i decided to give it a try.

There's one of the WORST food i have ever taste. It is tasteless to be exact. And super oily. I nearly puke after putting in the first mouth. ER XIN!!! SO i left on an empty stomach to the train station.

We were talking an overnight train to Aurangadad. It was suppose to be a 6 hours train ride. Luckily we took the 4 people in a air con room. If not i cannot imagine squeezing with all the ah nei.

After that day, I actually have an urge to cut short my trip and back to SGP.
